Description:
When dawn broke on my last day at Gravesend in May 1967, Saturday the 27th, the 1949 Bergen built FRIBORG, owned in Kopervik,near Haugesund in the south west of Norway, was anchored in Gravesend Reach. Fortunately the crew of a local work boat very kindly allowed me to board in order to take photographs of OTTO SHMIDT and so also this ship. FRIBORG later sailed from London on 1st June 1967 bound for St.John's, Newfoundland.
