Harrison Line's 1958 Doxford, Sunderland, built AUTHOR is seen passing Battery Point, Portishead, on Wednesday 14th June 1967 outbound from Avonmouth on a voyage from Dar-es-Salaam to Glasgow. Sold late in 1978 to Stena Atlantic Line Ltd as intermediaries for resale to breakers, she was renamed HUMBER, arriving at Karachi on 9th November 1978 after experiencing engine trouble on the voyage from Hamburg and moving to nearby Gadani Beach on 18th June 1979 for breaking.
