Thank you both very much, Clive and Clyde. Yes, Nordstjernen and Cap San Diego in one photo is, I think, something special. Two beautiful ladies of a bygone era still going strong.

Yes, Clyde, Blohm & Voss where Nordstjernen was built is right on the other side, a stone's throw from Überseebrücke. I'm really happy I finally got her in front of my camera. Originally I wanted to catch her sailing from Bubendey Ufer as she was scheduled to leave at 4pm, but when she still hadn't left at 5.30pm I decided to catch her at Überseebrücke...

That's a busy picture of a very interesting 60 year old ship Jens!

Wikipedia told me "MS Nordstjernen (Norwegian: "The North Star") is a vessel constructed in Hamburg, Germany in 1956, and used on the Hurtigruten coastal service until 2012."
