Description:

The 1957 built HERCEGOVINA, owned by Atlantska Plovidba of Dubrovnik, was photographed passing Gravesend, inbound for a Thames river berth, on 21st July 1967.

The ex-SILVERPOINT-65 (Silver Line, built by Bartram at Sunderland), HERCEGOVINA became the ASTAREA in 1972, the Singapore owned ILOK in 1976 and Greek owned MYRTOS in 1980.

She ran aground on 23.2.82 during a voyage from Constanta to Calcutta with a cargo of urea, caught fire and was scuttled.
