Built in 2014 by Yamanishi shipyard at Ishinomaki, this is a 199 GT, 36 m long trawler spotted at Onagawa, a fishing village near Ishinomaki in Miyagi prefecture, Japan.

Onagawa used to be a fishing town, not just a village, but then a 2011 tsunami came, claiming 827 lives and destroying 70% of the buildings in the town. Of course, it will be rebuilt, and the area is still one huge construction site: they have decided to raise the town center by some 15 meters, just in case, by bringing down a hill and using the material to create this elevated area, where construction is in full swing.
