B.P.Tanker Company's 1965 Gothenburg built tanker BRITISH MAPLE was photographed passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth, on Saturday 12th August 1967

Later: 1981 MANAMARIA (Tsakos Shipping & Trading, Piraeus)

MANAMARIA suffered an engine room fire off Augusta on 8.6.82 - arrived at Piraeus in tow on 24.7.82 - scrapped locally, at Aspropyrgos

Joined this ship at Eriksberg Shipyard in Gothenburg. Junior Engineer on maiden voyage down to New Zealand. Lovely ship (for a tanker).
