Being towed in front of Kawasaki Heavy Industries shipyard. Built in 2015 as the 8th submarine of the Soryu-class, she would be delivered to Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in March 2017, 7 months after this photo was taken. This is a quite unique image as the white markings "508" and "Sekiryu" on her would soon be removed in order to hide the ship name after entering service. Now she's assigned to Kure base in Hiroshima.
