Description:
Shaw, Savill & Albion Line's 1934 built WAIPAWA is seen as ARAMIS berthed in Avonmouth's oil basin on 9th September 1967 waiting to sail for Coatzacoalcos in Mexico and then on to the breaker's yard at Kaohsiung where she finally arrived on 21st March 1968 after suffering machinery trouble. She had sailed from Coatzacalcos on 6th (and again on 11th) October and left Cristobal on 25th December.
As ARAMIS she was owned by the well known shipowners and brokers Rethymnis & Kulukundis.
