Thanks Phil for persisting with this, and with firmest info yet. We could certainly do with member access to ZC data!
And of course we need the real IMO 8773524 mto pass in front of a member's camera.

My Chinese experts have confirmed that ZHONG HAI 018 and ZHONG HAI 18 are different ships as they have separate records and IDs in ZC (Chinese domestic) class.
"I don’t think Zhong Hai 018 and IMO 8773524 are the same ship. First, their dimensions (from Marinetraffic) are different. Second, they have different ship IDs in ZC Class. Unfortunately ZC doesn’t provide a class certificate for this ship, only a record. So I don’t have the exact dimensions and tonnage.I found a separate Zhong Hai 18 in ZC, of which the LOA is 75m and GT is 1959. So it’s not the same ship as IMO 8773524. I’m not sure if Ning Shuang Shun 797 indeed changed her name to Zhong Hai 18 or Equasis made a mistake. On ZC, Ning Shaung Shun 797 still remains the same name but chances are the data was overdue"

Thanks for your comments!
Phil I don't believe that any of these Chinese container feeders are foreign flagged. They are quite common in Chinese waters.
I did a check before posting and didn't found an IMO-number.
Cheers,
Roy

Strange, Phil - an intriguing possibility or odd coincidence.
That one is listed by IHS as ex-NING SHUANG SHUN 797
general cargo, 4131gt 5500dwt, 99 x 17 x 8m, 1730bhp 12kn
built 2011 Nanjing Chentang Shiprepair Co, Nanjing
The only location data found so far is a satisfactory PSC inspection at Subic Bay, Philippines on 21/4/2017. Owner declared there as S L Ocean Ltd, Singapore.
(there is another similar that has been listed also recently, NING SHUANG SHUN 2238 ex-NING SHUANG SHUN 2
38, IMO 8784705 and owned in Malaysia under Niue flag)
However, a Chinese ZHONG HAI 018 remains active, according to MarineTraffic, with movements as recent as 10/7.
MMSI 413556040, c/s BQRP, 112 x 18m (other Chinese sources have 104 x 22m). ITU has this as current, describing has as "container", and with entry updated by the Chinese in 4/2017.
So at this stage difficult to be at all sure.

Quite possible this is IMO 8773524 which is listed on Equasis as "Zhong Hai 18" and now under Cook islands registry.

Without you, who would be there to get the photos of this "container motor barges", as I call them? :)
Btw, expect category change to "Unidentified Far Eastern shipping".
