In days gone by it wasn't all that unusual to have the name on the ship's quarter, especially on vessels with rounded narrow sterns. Nowadays with the universal "chopped" sterns, it's become a Stolt thing. Thanks TARBATNESS.

Interesting to se the name on the quarter. Warships always have their names there and never seen this in a merchant ship. Great photo.

Still taking a few pics, but work pressures have been preventing me spending as much time on here as I have done previously.

And yes I do enjoy seeing the yellow Stolt ships, with the traditional placement of the name, etc. (The use of other than block capitals also).
