Description:

Decommissioned Greek auxiliary (listing??) at the quayside in Souda Bay.

Built 1956 by Dubigeon-Normandie SA at Nantes-Chantenay (Yd 757) for Société Navale Caennaise, Caen as AMALTHÉE, a general cargo ship with additional wine tanks.

It looks as if she had a sister ENÉE (Yd 758, IMO 5104186)

What type of transmitting equipment would she have on board and is it standard across the Hellenic Navy?

An IMO number is an IMO number. Anything else isn't an IMO number and should not be inserted into the IMO number field.

Ken
Then you won't catch her during her career, especially when she was an ex Merchant vessel as in this case.
By the way she is already on Shipspotting with the above mentioned IMO/ID number as SCHWARZWALD, so there is no reason not to include the IMO/ID number 5607777 as you already mentioned yourself above.

Adenathos, you will find that the vast majority of Naval Vessel on the website are grouped together by the use of the Pennant Number.
That is the preferred method of locating them on the this Website because not all Naval vessel have an IMO Number, of course with those that do have an IMO then it can be given as well.
If you go to This Ship you will find all of A415 that are on the Website listed.
I did prepare a Check List but sadly it was never adopted and is rather out of date now but if you are interested I would be happy to let you have a copy.
Regards
Ken

Correct David but I thought it was agreed to use these numbers just to group the photo's together on Shipspotting for convenience sake !

Thanks chaps !! To remain in limbo, unadorned except for the encroachment of rust !!

That is not a unique number in the LR/IMO series - it's an internal Miramar reference. If she had still been in LR when the system was introduced, she would have probably have been 6077770, but we don't use that either. She will remain unadorned!
