I remember her as a Guinea Gulf Line ship (with a red/black funnel) and a regular visitor to Tilbury in the middle/late '60s. Never managed to get a photo of her, unfortunately.

I agree with David. Pegu had no sister ships either from Lithgows or within Henderson that this could be, but did have very distinct superstructure features which we see here, including the tall mast above the cabins.

I think that this is PEGU (LR/IMO 5273080), built 1961 for Henderson's British & Burmese Steam Navigation Co Ltd, and much transferred
1964 Elder Dempster Line - West Africa
1966 Guinea Gulf Line - West Africa
1972 China Mutual Steam Navigation (Blue Funnel Line) - one round-trip to Far East
1972 Elder Dempster Line - West Africa
1975 Guinea Gulf Line - West Africa
then sold in 1980

So a rare view of her during the short period with Blue Flue
