Confirmed from Dr Ian Buxton, who wrote a detailed history of AFDs in Wold Ship Society "Warships Supplement" Vols 160 and 161, that this is indeed the right ID for both.

@ rarcand: I agree that the smaller floating dock indeed is AFD 26, while the larger one is AFD 60. Thanks for your investigative work!

Could the smaller one be AFD26? You can check her story at http://www.worldnavalships.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-5167.html

Do we agree that this (the smaller of the two) dry dock actually is AFD 60; apart from having never been registered in the true sense, she is obviously currently operational, as shown by unidentified vessel inside: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=2738511

AFD 60 has never been "registered" in the true sense, but it was included in Lloyd's Register of Ships when built (though it was apparently never classed by LR, it may have been built under their supervision) - how it hung around long enough to get an LR/IMO number beats me! But there it is.

LR (and IHS) show it as a historic vessel, "out of scope" since 1968. Why Maritime-Connector, Marine Traffic and the others picked up that old data and included it also defeats me. I suppose that they just hoovered up the LR database (with or without permission).

Though reportedly sold in 1998, AFD60 still registered to UK government:

This would make the smaller one AFD 60, IMO 8899342, built 1966:
These Admirality Floating Docks were built for the UK-government to service their feet of submarines.

This may be one of the docks at Reykjavik:
"...we left AFD 60 in Reykjavik in the late 1990's. In fact the dock was sold to Velsmoja Orms & Viaglundar SF, Reykjavik in 1998. It arrived there on the 30th May 1998, under the tow of Anglian Earl. It was reported as still there (Google Earth) in 2008."

It looks like the Vickers built and now wrecked "DUKE OF CONNAUGHT". Maybe form the same builder?
