Chine Shipping Company's 1957 Henry Robb, Leith, built bulk carrier THACKERAY, which had been lengthened in 1966, is here seen as NISYROS ERA outbound from Rotterdam on 29th May 1975. She had discharged her previous cargo at Southampton.

NISYROS ERA, operated by Aeco Maritime S.A., Piraeus, subsequently arrived at Port Said from Huelva prior to 19.2.79 and remained idle there for several years. Miramar reports that by 1991 she was lying in the Great Bitter Lake and in 1999 deleted from Lloyd's Register, presumably having been broken up locally in Egypt.
