Well that's great news , the film "Das boot" is one of my favourite war films and the that she is returning to Malta in February means additional shooting for the said film as you said and hoping that she remains here.She is an asset to the film industry here.

It's going to the U-boat pens at La Rochelle for the sequel to "Das Boot". Then back to Malta for more filming offshore in February.

Dont know David, presumably she (the U-Boat replica) is going to be used as a film prop, but where, and what film is the question, if I am not mistaken La Rochelle was a U-boat base during WW2, anyone has any more info?
