Better let's say, she looks similiar to the ADRIANA... But in general, a very good observation, Jadran! ;-) Indeed, both ships were built in Athens (GR), even if I am not sure if they were really built by the same yard. Well, probably...

For the AG. NEKTARIOS AEGINAS I found the Ergoship, Savas Shipyard in Eleusis (source faktaomfartyg.se) and for the ADRIANA the Salamanca Shipyards (United Ship Yard) in Perama (source http://www.nedcruise.info). @All experts: It's the same?

Hard to believe, that there are 26 (!) years between the two vessels, indeed. In my opinion it's because the AG. NEKTARIOS AEGINAS looks much older than she really is. For me she rather looks like she was built in the middle of the 70's and not in the late 90's.

Personally I have to admit, that I don't really like the design of the two vessels, even though I like the ADRIANA a little bit more...

Thanks for the comment, "WBM" and greetings to you and your balcony in Rijeka. ;) Florian

This ferry has the same 'form' of the bow + superstructure front + combined funnel/mast configuration, as the cruise ship ADRIANA
http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=408440
maybe the both ships built at the same shipyard?? (though,, cruise ship Adriana built 1972 whilst ferry Agios Nektarios Aeginas built 1998)
