Description:

28.10.2017 Zhoushan - the Maersk newbuilding Vuoksi Maersk and two of her sisters at the newbuilding yard in Zhoushan, China. Most probably a part of the 2015 contracted vessels for SEAGO which will be ice-classed. As I read they will be most probably used in the Baltic and North Sea. If I am wrong let me know.

According to SEAGO LINE two months ago, they will send their first newbuild, Vistula Maersk, on her maiden voyage in the North and Baltic Sea this december. The question is whether Vistula Maersk has been delivered, because I can not yet find the vessel on MarineTraffic.

^^ The new bulbless bow design had already been 'leaked' in March when the first ship was launched: https://youtu.be/Qfiv_68r-vQ

A nice "scoop"! VUOKSI MAERSK is not yet featured in the registers of IHS, so she must be one of the later ships in the series (yardno. N692, 693 or 694).

the already known names are as follows:

N688 VISTULA MAERSK
N689 VOLGA MAERSK
N690 VAYENGA MAERSK
N691 VENTA MAERSK

The original design had a normal bow by the way: http://www.lr.org/en/news-and-insight/news/LR-to-class-3600-teu-container-ships-for-Maersk-Line-first-boxships-to-be-built-at-COSCO-Zhoushan.aspx
