Description:

US Military Sealift Command Safeguard salvage ship.
She is 255 feet long, and 3282 tons full load. She was commissioned in the US Navy in 1985 and transferred to the Military Sealift Command in 2006.
She is equipped for salvage, firefighting, towing, diving support, and heavy lifting. Operations she has been involved in include the recovery of JFK Jr plane in 1999, and helping to clear ports closed by the 2010 Haitian earthquake.
