Description:

Taken at Imabari Shipbuilding Saijo factory.
She is the 1st 20,000TEU container ship built at Imabari Shipbuilding for EVERGREEN. Imabari will build total 11 x 20,000TEU for EVERGREEN at Saijo and Marugame factory.
Arriving the factory, it was just after the launching ceremony and she was leaving the dock slowly.

Hello Vlad.
I agreee with you. I could take "only" this shot due to the prevention by the security gard of the factory. Of course I'd like to take some shot including her wheelhouse and IMO number but in vain.
I went to Marugame after Saijo last weenk, the 2nd 20,000TEU ship for EVERGREEN was half-built yet. I will upload later.

Thanks for the news, MS3866. I will make sure to put Marugame on the list of places to visit in near future, as it offers better views for a ship spotter than Saijo...
