Yes, "Manhattan" was the biggest tanker in the world when launched in 1962. She made only one call at Santa Cruz, chartered by CEPSA (Compañía Española de Petróleos S.A.), owner of Tenerife refinery.

"Manhattan"-I belive she was the biggest tanker in the world when she was delivered?
