16-10-2006: Toaday the Otapan returned to Amsterdam, most likely she will be demolished here, same way like the Sandrien

03-01-2007:

After the Turkish goverment denied the ship in to her waters to be demolished she came back to Amsterdam. According the export papers there was only a 1000 kg of asbestos on board, after she came back dutch officals said there was 54 ton of asbestos, but now after a complete research their is a total of 77 ton of asbestos. Most likely it will be removed in Holland and then the clean hull is demolished in Holland or somewhere else!

23-02-2007:

Today the Otapan left Amsterdam again with destination Rotterdam, there the asbestos will be removed. Where the ship is going to be demolished is unknown yet!
