Passenger ferry 'Mira Sado', registration O-376-TL, manouvering to dock at the Olhão passenger pier (Algarve, Southern Portugal) after another crossing from the island of Culatra. The crossing takes place inside the Ria Formosa basin and wildlife sanctuary and takes ca. 30 minutes.

This is presumably the largest and oldest ferry made of wood still in active duty in Portugal. She is equipped with a 12 cylinder MAN engine. Capacity is 347 passengers distributed over 2 decks (the upper deck is open). Capacity decreases to 180 pax in case of bad weather.
