The newly built Swedish coastal tanker LANA, delivered on 26th July 1967 at Lödöse to Lars Johansson (OT Rederierna) of Skarhamn, is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth, on the morning ebb tide of 6th December 1967, exactly fifty years ago today.
Lengthened in 1974, she was sold in 1988 and renamed NEW ORLEANS
Later: 1989 NANCY ORR GAUCHER - 96 PETRAWAK - 00 TONGA
