Description:

Belize flagged tug NORE COMMODORE (IMO5006293), under arrest at Brest, on April 18th 1996. Alongside is the French custom ship AVEL GWALARN (DF46).
18/04/1996- On her way from Morocco to Holland, she was intercepted off Ushant by French customs and re-routed towards Brest, suspected of smuggling.
19/04/1996- After a complete search, she was released. But some hours later, she was intercepted again, and came back to Brest, where her fuel bunkers were emptied.
20/04/1996 - Nothing found, she resumed her voyage to Holland.
