Eilert Lund's Rederi A/S of Bergen's 1952 Short Bros(Sunderland) built LISIANNE, the former NORDVARD purchased from Klosters Rederi A/S of Oslo about one year earlier and on time charter to Nigerian National Shipping Lines, is seen passing Portishead, inbound for Avonmouth from Warri, exactly fifty years ago, on 16th December 1967.

LISIANNE sank near Borkum on 13.1.69 following a collision with HELMOS (ex EASTERN CITY) while on voyage from Kotka to Shanghai with a cargo of woodpulp.
