Historical harbour tour/passenger vessel 'Evora', registration S-111-AL, moored and at rest at the Alcântara docks for the Winter season (Lisbon harbour).
This vessel was built in Germany in 1931 using steel from recycled tanks from WWI. She was the first diesel-engine vessel to operate in Portugal. From 1931 until 1975 she served as a ferry/train link by Portuguese rail operator CP between the Barreiro railway station (Tagus river South bank) and the railway passenger terminal at Terreiro do Paço (Lisbon).
She was rebuilt in 2004 and 2015, and now serves as a harbour tour vessel, primarily in and around the Sado river basin (Setúbal).
