Description:

Need help with this Victory ship, berthed alongside the John W Brown, which at the time was still operating as a school ship for NY Dept. of Education. Photo taken September 1978, New York, anyone got any ideas regarding the identity of the Victory ship which appears to carry no visual identification

My father graduated from there well before the John W. Brown II came along... looking at his notebooks and syllabus for the engineering curriculum there it was a very solid program with some top notch instructors.

In fact she was the John W. Brown II because she was scrapped in 1982.
