According to the latest law in china. 200 meter nearby the port is ok. I wont fly into the port landarea.thank you for your reminding.Every flyer walk on the edge of the law.We should cotrol the risk for ourself and public.Never close to crowds! Never close to military !object.find a lonely island or moutain_Escape from life for a while, enjoy the real life for a while

Nice series subject photo(s). Your drone must have serious lense stretch to capture such "close-ups" in what looks like foggy conditions... Regardless of where one might launch their drone, as rd77 alluded to and it is my understanding many ports have a "No Drone Zone" policy. If such policy in place for Shanghai port, doubtful it would be anything like airports (i.e. 9 kilometres/approx. 6 miles). Nevertheless, that "mountain nearby" must be reasonably "close by"..?

The ship enter port at 17:00 P.M.
I choose a mountain nearby the port to lunch my drone.

Seems you had to get up pretty early to catch this ship! Or is it just the usual Shanghai fog ;-)
Interesting that you are allowed to fly a drone around the port. I would have expected the security forces to have a problem with that ;-)
