Hello Tom
In winter, there are on average some 3-4 ship departures from Montréal because movements are restricted to daytime navigation only. I get to see and photograph these vessels (mostly regular callers) some 2 hours later as they sail by Verchères. If you check the Port of Montréal website, you'll have a pretty good idea of what's happening because it features a ships in port list. Things will start picking up in April when the Seaway will reopen for another season.

Nice photo Marc. Smog over the montreal region doesn't help, does it? :-(

Saw it at the dock just above the tunnel this morning. she was all lit-up. nice
