ADV Cape Fourcroy is one of two Cape Class Patrol Boats introduced into service with the Royal Australian Navy to supplement the Armidale Class Patrol Boat capability.

ADV Cape Fourcroy has been seamlessly integrated into service as a result of the close working relationship between Navy and the Australian Border Force which also operates a fleet of the Cape Class Patrol Boats.

ADV Cape Fourcroy is manned by two crews, 'Port' and 'Starboard', with one crew embarked and one disembarked at any given time.
