Thanks for your comments. Back in the day when I was taking color slides, my correspondents with whom I exchanged transparencies were in awe with these 'ice shots'. Most of these traders never experienced such climatic situations except for those living in Finland. I started seeing similar views as mine taken by Russian photographers later on the Internet.

At the temperatures at your place, I would never leave again, because I would be frozen. And also a good photo again, best regards, Mike.

I can feel the cold in my bones from the comfort of my armchair !! ;-)

I didn't walk to the end of the dock (foreground in stern photo) as I usually do because it was far too cold for my old bones. Thanks for the appreciative comment.
