Built as general cargo ship 866 grt; 905 dwt.
1968-converted to containership; 1978-sold/renamed SPICE ISLAND; 1979-SPICE ISLAND GIRL (Panama flag); 1986-to breakers at Bruges, Belgium 31/2.

Great shot Bob,

Nice memory of when Parkeston Quay was a busy place. We used to push those Freightliner wagons round the quay, sometimes we hit an idiot who had parked on the railway lines!
