Indeed, two cascos welded together... interesting idea.
Probably cheaper than to build a ship of the same size from sratch...

Looking better at her hull, I can bet 99.9% that are two inland-ships welded and surely must possess a great load capacity and stability to navigate between Argentina and Uruguay.
This is Latin America and its crazy creations!! (laugh)

That's a very interesting photo you have here, Rogério. I suppose we see the vessel here as it was built, it's not two ships welded together, or is it?

The design strikes me as rather odd... :-)
