What a treat to see her sailing again and my highlight of the year!!!

Bleichen on her way to her berth at Bremer Kai, Hansahafen. I suppose this was an unofficial guest trip for friends and/or supporters. According to the website her first official guest trip after a 10-year restauration will start on April 21st.

Derek, Hannes - thanks for the compliment and Jürgen thanks for sharing some memories.

As written in the description she'll be sailing more often now starting in April. Maybe on harbour's birthday in May there'll be a chance to see Bleichen and Cap San Diego sailing - in one photo! :-)

I remember the time when I was onboard Burstah (from H.M.G.) in 1965 and Maria Russ in 1966, both sisterships in regulare liner service from Hamburg Baakenhafen via Kiel Canal to Helsinki-Kotka-Hamina and back.
