Built in 1953 at American Shipbuilding in Lorain Ohio 690 x 70 x 37. Converted from a bulk carrier to a self-unloader in 1981. Was launched as the Ernest T Weir for National Steel purchased by Columbia Transportation (Oglebay Norton) in 1978. Purchased by American Steamship in June of 2006 and renamed American Fortitude
