or most of the past six years it has been sitting at a Portsmouth boatyard racking up storage fees.

Ocean Marine Yacht Center filed a lawsuit last year in U.S. District Court in Norfolk, seeking over $744,000.

The Highlander has undergone expensive repairs since steaming into Portsmouth. The lawsuit claimed Victor Muller was billed at least $365,000 over the years.
That charge, however, is now dwarfed by the costs associated with storage. From Dec. 1, 2011, through July 1, that bill totals over $831,000, the lawsuit said.
Muller initially made several payments, but not enough to secure the boat’s release. The lawsuit said he paid over $450,000.

The payments stopped in July 2015, though. Since then, nothing.

*Victor Muller is a Dutch millionaire who owns the Highlander through a Malta-based company, Blue Delta Navigation Limited.

Looks like she has arrived for some drastic rebuilding.
