Description:

B.P.Tanker Company's 1964 Lithgows, Port Glasgow, built tanker BRITISH FERN is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, on 5th April 1968, exactly fifty years ago today.

Later: 1983 CHERSO (Italian)
She suffered heavy weather damage off Augusta between 19th/26th December 1991 - proceeded to Izola for repairs - arrested in May 1992 due to alleged unpaid bills - beached at Aliaga on 15th November 1994 for breaking.
