Have seen detentions in by PSC in Europe as well due to such designs, in both Belgium and the Netherlands, in that case the liferafts were "safely stowed" underneath ladders on the accommodation on bulk carrier(s), ensuring that absolutely now free floating would take place. But, again and as always, the arrangement was duly approved and certified. By a "reputable" Class and Flag state.

God forbid the USCG seeing this arrangement. I've witnessed a detention when the inflatable liferafts were positioned on the B deck below the bridge wings three decks up, but it was still deemed to be "detrimental to free floating"...

Cheers

According Equasis, she has Panama flag and Class by CCS. In my personal view, the arrangement of the inflatable liferafts in the recess of the superstructure does not seem to offer the liferafts much free floating if they were released by the HRU. But, as always, the arrangement is for sure approved and duly certified.
A good looking ship anyway :-)

Thanks for your comment, Ralph. This looks like a move up for Daezer Shipping.

Cheers

Another first for you Vlad! Interesting change of livery BTW. Daezer appears to be a Korean outfit which is running a number of passenger cats: http://www.daezer.com/sail/ship.html
