Description:

The 1949 Furness, Haverton Hill, built dry bulk carrier FRIEDA, which had been converted from a tanker in 1960 and was owned by Atlantic Shipping Company Limited (N.Tsimplis) of Piraeus, is seen passing Portishead, outbound from Avonmouth, fifty years ago today, on the evening tide of 11th April 1968.

She was scrapped at Aliaga between September 1982 and 1984.
