Sorry for the correction but the pictured schooner never was a fishing schooner. She is the BLUE CLIPPER and was built as a yacht and charter vessel. See her specs at:
http://www.hugohein.com/other/clipperschoner/clipperschoner-specs.htm

Although on the market (for sale) for many years, she still seems to be owned in Sweden. At least this was the case when I took some pictures of her at Kiel, Germany in 1994. In your picture she flies the Tricolore as host country flag in her foremast.

Regards,
Werner Jurkowski

Bonjour,

Ce nom "LEONARD MICHALON" est le nom de JEAN LEFEBRE dans le film "NE NOUS FACHONS PAS"
Pur hasard?

Salutations

Yes,

Jean Lefebvre, a great french actor, took the name of trawlers when he played dramas.

I am sure it is the " LEONARD MICHALON " because I read the name on the hull.

Do you have any other information on this vessel? I can't find anything with Google, and wondered what year she was built, what is her length, and is she currently sailing under that name, or has she changed names? Also, do you have any other pictures of her you could share? I'd loke to see her from the stern, or under sail if possible.

Thank you for posting this, and I look forward to any more you may have on her.
