I did the conversion on this ship in '91' to the Oilfield rescue ship MV Far Seeker from tug Rumi, then sailed as 2nd Eng for 2 years in the North Sea. As the Rumi, She had sat in Spain for two years as a brand new vessel, with no owners. Then Farstad bought her, conversion in Smiths dock Teesside. Powerful wee ship with twin V16's and we could move her just using the fire cannons on the upper gantry as they were main engine driven fire pumps.
