United States Lines’ 1945 Oakland built C2-S-B1 type AMERICAN MANUFACTURER is seen outbound from Rotterdam, passing Hoek van Holland, on 12th July 1968. She had been delivered to the U.S. Government in April 1945 as LOOKOUT and acquired by U.S.Lines in 1947. A sale to Trans-Oceanic Enterprise Corporation of New York had already been agreed and, on her return to the U.S.A., she was renamed TRANSOCEANIC ENTERPRISE. She finally arrived at Kaohsiung on 15th June 1970 for breaking.
