Wondering why they would initially have named both barges built one year apart the same name.....

According to the site with the link below, it seems that there were two St ELIAS built by Zidell Marine in Portland, belonging to Samson Tug & Barge, the first one, built in 1993 (Hull#647) is still named ST ELIAS, while the second one built in 1994 (hull#650) with the same specs was the one renamed ZB 335. http://shipbuildinghistory.com/shipyards/small/zidell.htm
