The Canadian Olympic slides down the entrance of the Saint Clair River at Point Edward, Ontario and will pass under the Blue Water brides connecting the United States and Canada. This stretch of river has the fastest current of any place in North America's Great Lakes, about 7 knots on average. Date is September 10, 2006.
