The speed boat helps give a true sense of scale.

Great shot Jens, I wouldn't edited out the towing lines I would Photoshoped that annoying little speedboat out.My home port in Melbourne is on the Yarra river and I have to deal with these small speedboats all the time while trying to photograph a ship.

Rick, hope you are fine. Thank you very much for the compliment! :-)

Yes, she's quite impressive. It's been a while since I have seen such a big bulker here at Hamburg or an ore carrier like Berge Blanc, so I was quite happy to catch this freshman on the seven seas.

Cheers,
Jens

Hi Jens, this shot caught my eye for all the right reasons.
An impressive image and an enjoyable mini series of the vessel. Well done.
Regards, Rick

Thanks a lot Volker. Hehe, if it only had been a lot more faster. When the weather is fine there's almost always some hobby captain sailing in front of a shipspotter's object of desire... It can become a bit annoying.

Greetings to Kiel Canal from the "Tor zur Welt" :-))
