5/2018 sold by Med Marine Pilotage & Towage, Turkey to Multraship Towage & Salvage, Terneuzen and renamed MULTRATUG 9 (NLD flag, reg Terneuzen, c/s PCZR, MMSI 244850094)

But there is a complication as the previous MULTRATUG 9 (IMO 7328114, NLD flag, reg Terneuzen, c/s PDBX, MMSI 246462000), which had been reported sold, is still very much in evidence and has resumed working at Terneuzen/Ghent/Vlissingen. If they Multraship do decide to kep the old "9", I expect and early renumbering of this one. But Russian buyers are reported to be snapping up a number of Rotterdam and Scheldt tugs which had been rumoured to be going for scrap. One to watch!
