Thanks Marc, I very much appreciate your comments. Sometimes one gets lucky or is just in the right place at the right time and can see the photo develop. I have been on the water the last two weekends and it has been great to be able to see the ships and take photos. As noted in the comment above I got very lucky with the sun on a mostly cloudy day.

Thanks! Good to hear from you. Got lucky as traffic tended to be in bunches on Sunday and clouds were constantly over the shore and land and it was often sunny out on the lake -- in late afternoon the sun moved closer to shore which sure helped when these three lakers went up the lake - I normally drive along the Saint Claire River quite a bit but it was dark and cloudy downriver I stayed at Point Edward most of the day. As you can see my new Canon zoom is working pretty good.
