Description:

Buffalo (NY) Fire Department fire boat.
May be the oldest active fire fighting vessel in existence now. Originally built in 1900, rebuilt and repowered in 1953.
Has five water monitors and can pump 15,000 gallon per minutes of water. Also has light icebreaking abilities.
She is 118 feet long, 24 feet wide, and a draft nearly 11 feet. Weighs 274 tons and a top speed of nearly 12 knots.
Taken from a tour boat as she is tied up to her berth on the Buffalo River.
