Description:

At Grays on the River Thames. Trinity House Light Vessel 38, was the Brake lightship. Second oldest Lightship still around, built in 1860 and used until 1946. After her working life was used as a club house for the Thurrock Yacht Club.

Thanks Jaap for the info. I've done a search of the web and discovered that she was built in 1860 and was a light ship untill 1946. She was also used as a club house sometime after that.
Alas, her fate seems to be to rot on the banks of the Thames, how sad!
