PROJECT PASSENGER MOTOR BOAT «ASKOLD-40.1»
«Askold-40.1» is a motor boat and is a modified version of «Askold-40». The vessel is supposed to be used as a pleasure craft or a personnel launch on inland waterways and near-shore areas. The vessel’s design is analogous to the design of steam launches and motor boats typical of the late 19th and early 20th century.

The vessel hull is made of selected ship construction pine and has laminated longitudinal and transverse framing and single layer clinker planking.
The vessel’s design includes the forepeak, the pilot’s cabin, the marine toilet room, the large lounge and the open aft cockpit.
The 43 hp ship diesel engine is installed in the aft cockpit and the engine is covered with the engine jacket.
The boat is supplied with the gyro-hydraulic steering system as well as with the anchor handling equipment, the mooring fittings and the life rails (railing).
The hull systems include the drainage system with two manual and two electric bilge pumps, fresh water system, the waste water system with the marine toilet and the ventilation system.
The electrical facility includes the accumulator plants, inside lighting fittings, the electric service panel, the charger and the land-based power cable.
According to the customer preferences, the boat can be supplied with the navigation equipment or other additional equipment that are not included into the boat basic configuration.
